We’re glad you’re considering worshiping with us. Visiting a church for the first time can feel a little uncertain, so we want to make it simple to know what to expect. River of Life gathers on Wednesday evenings at Larkspur Landing Event Center in Pierre. You don’t need to be Lutheran, know the service by heart, or have everything figured out before you come. Come in. You are welcome to join us.

What to Expect
Our worship is centered on God’s Word, prayer, music, preaching, and Holy Communion. The service is rooted in the historic Lutheran liturgy, but the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
You’ll hear Scripture read, Christ proclaimed, prayers spoken, songs sung, and forgiveness announced in Jesus’ name. Services usually last about an hour.
Come as you are — whether you’re dressed up or casual, have questions or confidence, your presence matters. Together, we draw near to God, and He meets us right where we are.

Yes! We lower the barriers to connection by serving a meal every Wednesday from 5:00 – 6:15 PM before our 6:30 PM during the school year.
All are welcome.
